LUNAR ZEBRO

Driven by C-shaped legs instead of wheels, the six-legged rover, size of A4 sheet, from where it takes its name in Dutch “zes-benige robot”, will be able to climb over much taller obstacles than its wheeled counterparts, making it ideal for the rough and dangerous terrain found on the Moon.

The CLE mission concept is aiming at conducting radio astronomy below 30 MHz. This CLE radio mission and technology analysis is helping to pave the way towards deploying a larger scale distributed low frequency radio telescope in space, in the coming decades.

STRATOS II/II+

The Stratos II rocket was the first large hybrid launcher built by DARE. The vehicle did however not lift-off due to a frozen oxidizer valve. Stratos II+ was the answer to Stratos II in 2015, and successfully launched to 21.5 km, breaking the European student altitude record set by Stratos I.
